Evolution Short Sword

We have been forging Scimitars for over twenty five years and have made many different designs. The Evolution Collection  is the culmination of years of work in design and mastering. This Evolution Short Sword has a hollow ground blade and clip, the beveled spine sweeps into a fuller as it flows towards the tip. The bronze fittings on the examples shown here have darkened bronze and antiqued finish.  The fittings are also available in other finishes such as highlighted or verdigris. This and other options can be discussed when an order is placed. The sword we currently have in stock has darkened bronze mounts. The scabbard is open backed, which allows it to closely follow the contours of the blade. When sheathed, the guard fits snugly into the throat of the scabbard. Every item we produce is handmade and unique, even our Limited Editions. The 80CrV2 high carbon spring steel blade is ground from 1/4” stock (6.3mm). Blades are fully hardened and tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 54-56RC.
