This kit includes a 1″ x 12″ x 24″ high‑density, 6‑lb ceramic packing sheet, engineered to withstand up to 2500°F — nearly three times more heat resistance than standard fiberglass materials. Designed for both motorcycle and automotive mufflers, this ceramic packing provides a denser, more durable, and longer‑lasting solution compared to OEM and fiberglass packing. The increased density helps deliver a deeper tone, smoother exhaust sound, and enhanced muffler longevity. Each kit contains enough material to repack two motorcycle mufflers or one automotive muffler. With exceptional heat resistance, this ceramic packing is also suitable for high‑temperature applications such as pottery kilns, wood‑burning stoves, and glass‑blowing furnaces. We highly suggest using Aluminized tape found >here< for install and securing of our muffler packing kits around the baffle.  Using masking tape will cause quick deterioration.  Using stainless ties or wire can cut the packing material causing premature failure.
