The Vanilla Creme urethane basecoat is also applicable over well-prepared OEM or previously painted surfaces, including enamel, urethane, lacquer, fiberglass, plastics, bodywork, and bare metal, though a primer might be necessary for some substrates. Mixing Ratio: 3 parts paint to 1 part reducer. Pot Life: Indefinite for unmixed paint if sealed; approximately 4-6 hours for mixed paint, uncovered. Surface Preparation: Recommended cleaning with soap and water, followed by a wax and grease remover. Primer application as needed after sanding. Application: Use with most spray gun setups, applying 2-3 medium wet coats with adequate flash time between coats, followed by a clear coat application.
