2 Set Mountain Bike Brake Cable Gear Cable Wire and Cable End Crimps Kit

I have a 2015 Raleigh Misceo Trail 2.0 hybrid bike. It’s equipped with Shimano disc brakes, which I’ve never really worked on before. The other day, the rear brake cable snapped and so I went looking for a replacement cable. I didn’t really want to change out the conduit, so I was hoping I’d be able to find just the bare cable and hopefully one that’d be compatible with the disc brakes. Looking on Amazon, I couldn’t find anything that specific, so I took a gamble and bought this kit. Though this cable isn’t exactly the same thickness (it’s a little thinner, probably by a mm or two), it does work in the existing conduit and was easily swapped in within 5 minutes. The brakes pull beautifully and the cable seems to be of good quality. The best part? I’ve got several extras just in case something like this happens again. For the money, you can’t beat this kit.
