I’ve golfed with some older gentlemen in Florida who all use cart fans. The ones they had were a fair bit smaller than this fan and a heck of a lot weaker. The three fan settings are very nice, but my guess is that you’ll want to use at least setting #2. The weakest setting (#1) may not be quite strong enough to do much for you, but after that, you’re in serious cooling business. And it’s a very QUIET fan as well. I really like that. The timer feature is a very nice one as well. Basically, set it and forget it for the round – it’ll automatically turn off after the selected time. Nice! The LED feature is rather gimmicky and of no use if this will strictly be used during the day. If you’re a nighttime cart cruiser, I suppose you’ll add some panache to your ride. The USB charging cord is about three feet long so has very respectable length to it and should accommodate most golf carts that have USB ports installed as far as where you might want to mount this fan. Which brings me to my only real knock on this item: the “flexible tripod design” reminds me of the aliens in the movie “War Of The Worlds”. Simply put, I’m not a fan (pun intended!). That’s my only reason for giving this fan four stars.PRO TIP: This item is also listed as a “table fan” at the bottom of the Amazon item page under the “product information” table. Because it’s SO quiet, this fan really will serve you well as an auxiliary cooling device if you’re a fan person (which Mrs. H happens to be). Not only that, but if you’re an audiophile like me? Who sometimes might have a need to run some additional cooling to your stereo equipment (specifically Class A or A/B amplifiers)? This fan can come in handy, and I fully expect to utilize this fan in that capacity, as I currently have a small Polar Air fan plugged into a wall outlet for just this purpose. Heat is the enemy of electronic equipment, and these amplifiers generate a good amount of it; not a bad thing in northern winters as they double as a sort of space heater; not so much in the summer. Point being, this fan is a multi-tasker so use it as such! Highly recommended.Hope this was helpful.
